Attendance at the 2nd GEOFIT meeting
CATALANA DE PERFORACIONS attended the second GEOFIT meeting in Sant Cugat.
GEOFIT is an EU-funded innovation project, launched last July, aiming to develop and deploy cost-effective enhanced geothermal systems on energy efficient building retrofitting.
The Consortium of GEOFIT is composed of 24 partners from 9 EU countries, consisting of technology leaders in Europe, not only in cost-effective Geothermal solutions like the advanced & innovative EGS components but also in complementary technologies like adsorption heat pump devices, drilling wearing monitoring, SHM or underground Georadar surveys among others. In the framework of the project, CATALANA DE PERFORACIONS started a ground survey in one of GEOFIT's demo sites: the school Els Pins in Sant Cugat, where Georadar and GPS were used to detect existing underground services and to get the surface topography.
