DRILLING OF WELLS IN HIGHLY DIFFICULT TERRAIN IN ENCAMP - ANDORRA
CATALANA DE PERFORACIONS, S.A. has successfully completed the drilling of three water wells in the aquifer of the La Bartra based in Encamp (Andorra).
It is about a Quaternary aquifer of glacial origin whose thickness is between 30 and 60 m. In this project, we opted to use the rotary percussion drilling system with the Symmetrix system with simultaneous pipes recoverable at d.508 mm. The Symmetrix system has allowed us to drill without having to make diameter reductions when intercepting very hard boulders suspended in unconsolidated detrital materials.
