SYSTEM VIA RADIO
It is a very used system in the horizontal drilling industry, since it allows very significant working depths in the borehole execution (up to 15 meters) and the data lectures are reliable.
The waves transmitter is located in the housing, behind the drill head, or after the mud motor, depending on each case, and it sends some electromagnetic waves with a determined frequency. These electromagnetic emissions are picked up by a receiver, specially designed for this job, and they are interpreted.
