Catalana de Perforacions, S.A. is a company founded in 1984, and pertaining to the group Aquacenter®, specialized in vertical drillings for subterranean water harness and horizontal directional drilling.
In 1997 the horizontal directional drilling division imported the know-how of this technology into the Spanish market, which substitutes the trench opening, streets closing and pavements raising.
The system consists of a pilot borehole, composed of a steering head and pliable drill rods which enable the directional drillings execution to dodge the existing obstacles in their layout.
This method, quick, clean and ecologic, allows ducts installation, such as water, gas, electricity, communications,...and also the installation below the freatic level of sea drainages, beaches regeneration, grounds decontamination, collectors reconstruction and extension,...
The system allows the crossing of large rivers, roads and motorways, mountains and any natural obstacle since, when using drilling fluids, it is possible boring below the freatic level in a quick and effective way.
