PRELIMINARY STUDY

Marine survey: non-invasive technique that allows soil characterisation leading to minimising geological risks as well as identifying potential utilities installed underground across the surrounding area.

EXECUTION

The constructive method consists of executing a horizontal directional drilling, by following the steps as described below:

Reaming
Polyethylene plane welding(PE)

PIPE INSTALLATION

Pipeline is installed pulling towards the coast. In other words, pipeline is taken offshore, connected to the train of roads over the seabed and pulled into the tunnel toward the entry pit.

The pipeline goes smoothly through the tunnel thanks to the mud suspension, remaining finally without tensions, defects and losses of shape.
