Summary of the job position:

You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair the drilling mechanical equipment. Your objective, together with the drilling team, is to ensure the safe, efficient and continuous operation of equipment on site, maximising performance and minimising downtime.

What would your day-to-day life be like?

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and electromechanical equipment according to established plans.
  • Diagnose and repair breakdowns in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Supervise and monitor the operation of machines in the field, identifying possible problems and proposing solutions
  • Install and assemble new or replacement electromechanical components or systems, according to specifications and standards
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities performed, ensuring an up to date and accessible record
  • Comply with safety and occupational risk prevention regulations in all activities performed
  • Propose improvements and modifications to electrical or mechanical systems to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

What are we expecting from you?

  • You have a degree in Electromechanics, Electricity and Industrial Mechanics, preferably with specialisation in heavy machinery.
  • Minimum experience of 3 years in electromechanical maintenance of industrial machinery and/or heavy machinery.
  • Knowledge in the sector of: Electromechanics and Electricity; Mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics and Interpretation of electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Skills: Diagnostic and problem solving skills; teamwork and communication skills and ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
  • Willingness to travel a lot of the time or be willing to change country of residence.
