The Aquacenter® Group and UPC signed a collaborative agreement last Friday 17th October in order to coordinate and promote initiatives in the areas of research, teaching and technological development.
The Rector of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Mr. Enric Fossas Clotet, together with the Vice-Rector for Research Policy, Mr. Fernando Orejas and the responsible for the Department of Mining Engineering and Natural Resources of the UPC, Mr. Josep Font, as well as Mr. Domènec Pintó and Mr. Esteve Pintó on behalf of the Aquacenter® Group companies, highlighted their common interest to create a collaborative basis within the enterprise-university framework.
The Aquacenter® Group is a holding integrated by 6 companies (Catalana de Perforacions SA, Elèctrica Pintó SL, Domini Ambiental SL, Webdom Labs SL, Gestió Solar Sostenible SL and Comelsa SL) with a strong scientific-technologic background that operates in several industries such as civil engineering, renewable energies, electronics, oil&gas and mining.
