Catalana de Perforacions welcomes ESCI-UPF students as part of the “Road Trip to Manresa”
Last week, on November 21st, Catalana de Perforacions had the honour of hosting third-year GNMI students from ESCI-UPF, as part of the “Road Trip to Manresa” programme organised by the Consell General de Cambres de Catalunya, the ESCI-UPF Career Service and with the collaboration of the Manresa Chamber of Commerce.
An opportunity to introduce the sector to future generations
Since 1968, Catalana de Perforacions has established itself as a European benchmark in drilling and underground works, developing cutting-edge techniques such as Horizontal Directional Drilling, Vertical Drilling for groundwater capture, marine drainage systems such as our patented Neodren®, and geotechnical research, among other services.
This student visit was an excellent opportunity to showcase first-hand how we operate, the challenges we face and the opportunities offered by a company committed to sustainability, innovation and technical excellence.
Sharing knowledge and a vision for the future
Throughout the day, students learned in detail about our technical processes, specialised machinery and extensive experience in complex projects.
Our aim was to offer them a realistic view of the sector, bring them closer to our mission of responsibly managing natural resources and inspire possible new professional vocations in geology, engineering and underground construction.
