Domènec Pintó, Administrator of Catalana de Perforacions, has been selected to be part of the faculty for the Master of Hydrogeology and Modeling at the University of Barcelona.
At Catalana de Perforacions, we started the year by providing knowledge and training to students enrolled in the Master of Hydrogeology and Modeling offered at the University of Barcelona, in the Faculty of Earth Sciences.
WE ARE THE PART OF THE FUTURE:
Domènec Pintó, Administrator of Catalana de Perforacions, has been selected to be part of the faculty for the Master of Hydrogeology and Modeling at the University of Barcelona.
During the training session, which lasted 2 hours, Domènec Pintó explained to the students the different techniques of horizontal, inclined, and guided drilling, with special emphasis on Horizontal Directional Drilling and the Neodren System, areas in which Catalana de Perforacions has extensive experience of over 28 years.
The attendance was nearly 100%, with a total of 25 students, both in-person and online.
WHAT IS THE MASTER’S ABOUT?
The Faculty of Earth Sciences at the University of Barcelona, together with the Institute of Environmental Diagnosis and Water Studies of the Spanish National Research Council, offers the Master’s in Permanent Training in Hydrogeology and Modeling as an official UB degree, with the main objective of providing specialized training in hydrogeology and numerical modeling of aquifers.
The master’s is offered in a blended format and includes the participation of professionals and students from around the world who want to be at the forefront of the sector.
Catalana de Perforacions teaches the module dedicated to horizontal, inclined, and guided drilling, covering both theoretical and practical aspects, through the various projects and works completed by the company.
