We commit to reducing emissions: participating in the Voluntary Agreements Programme of the Government of Catalonia

Catalana de Perforacions has formalised its adherence to the Voluntary Agreements Programme of the Government of Catalonia, taking an active role in reducing CO₂ emissions.

We are pleased to announce that Catalana de Perforacions has officially joined the Voluntary Agreements Programme, committing to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across all its operations.

This initiative reinforces our commitment to sustainability and the fight against climate change.

What is the Voluntary Agreements Programme?

The Voluntary Agreements Programme is an initiative of the Government of Catalonia that enables companies, institutions and organisations to voluntarily commit to implementing specific measures to reduce their GHG emissions.

In return, participating organisations receive official recognition, technical support, and publication of their progress.

What does this mean for Catalana de Perforacions?

By joining the programme, Catalana de Perforacions commits to reducing CO₂ emissions across all its facilities: the main offices, workshop building and warehouse, all located in Santpedor (Barcelona).

The commitment also extends to logistics related to projects and diesel consumption from drilling activities.

Commitment to the environment and sustainability

As part of our participation in the programme, Catalana de Perforacions undertakes to periodically report progress, audit emissions, verify implemented measures, and maintain a clear roadmap with progressive reduction goals.

The programme is founded on values of transparency, environmental responsibility and a genuine commitment to results.

A step further towards a sustainable future

Joining the Voluntary Agreements Programme reaffirms our dedication to environmental care and sustainability — two core pillars of the corporate values that guide our activity.

At Catalana de Perforacions, we aim for every project, beyond its technical purpose, to contribute positively to the environment and to society’s well-being.
