Whats is the Direct Pipe® technology?

The unique Direct Pipe® method developed by Harrenknecht AG opens up new possibilities for the installation of steel pipes in all types of geology: soft ground, mixed ground, in rock and straight trajectories.

This innovative Direct Pipe® method combines the advantages of micro-tonnelling and Horizontal Directional Drilling technology.

In one single step, the necessary drilling can be carried out to install pipes with diameters from 30‘’ to 60’ (Ø800-Ø1500), and with lengths in excess of 1,500 metres.
