What is the Neodren® and Neodren Plus® System?

At Catalana de Perforacions, we have developed an efficient and ecological system for capturing seawater for multiple uses.

Neodren® is aimed at large installations such as desalination plants, fish farms and tourist resorts; Neodren Plus® is a small-scale solution for farming activities and isolated villages.

WORK PROCESS

Feasibility study

Hydrographic studies with continental and marine cartography and geology, bathymetry and vertical soundings are carried out to prepare the seawater catchment design.

Drilling project

Using the Shore Approach technique, drilling and widening are performed to proceed with the installation of horizontal drains.

Installation of drains

Once drilling is complete, the horizontal drains required for the proper collection of seawater are installed.

Cleaning, foundations and gauging

With the drains in place, the inside is cleaned and the corresponding gauging test is performed to determine the seawater collection yield and flow rate.
