We attended the 26th annual congress of the DCA

We attended the 26th annual congress of the DCA from october 5th to 7th in the United Kingdom.

Once again, Catalana de Perforacions had the pleasure of attending and enjoying the 26th edition of the DCA Annual Congress, held in Stratford-upon-Avon, United Kingdom.

The 26th annual congress of the DCA – Drilling Contractors Association – Annual Congress focused its program on the importance of the current energy transition and the crucial role that HDD – Horizontal Directional Drilling – technology plays in this transition.

TO DRILL OR NOT TO DRILL, THAT IS THE QUESTION

Under the motto “To drill or not to drill, that is the question”, more than 140 participants, including Catalana de Perforacions, enjoyed the event.

This time, during the three-day congress held in the United Kingdom, topics related to future projects associated with the energy transition were discussed, such as wind farm connections, high-voltage cables, pipeline relocations, and the need to install new telecommunications. Projects that undoubtedly present technical challenges for all the work teams of the companies attending the congress.

During the event, Catalana de Perforacions’ representatives, Anna Serarols and Jordi Camps, attended conferences on “The Crucial Role of Drilling Fluids” and “Accuracy in HDD Drilling”, as well as participating in interesting presentations on HDD technology.

WHY DO WE ATTEND THE DCA ANNUAL CONGRESS?

At Catalana de Perforacions, we know that unity is strength, and exchanging ideas and knowledge is vital in our market.

We understand that participating year after year in drilling industry events and congresses opens the door to new job opportunities and allows us to continue with our internationalization project.

The 26th edition helped us catch up with all members and discuss the concerns related to the energy transition.

Without a doubt, we’ll see you at the 27th edition of the congress!
